Service Description

Full day beginners fluid acrylic art workshop in Studio PilchArt, Southbourne, Bournemouth. This workshop is the perfect introduction for those wanting to have a go at fluid acrylic art. The full day workshop introduces you to several different acrylic art techniques. It teaches you how to mix the paints, best colours to use using the colour wheel, how to prepare your canvas, the art of layering the cup, and finally the pour. During the day you will create several different pieces of art using the various techniques taught. Studio PilchArt is a lovely relaxed environment in which to learn. I have been a teacher for years so nothing fazes me! Absolutely no experience is necessary and its great fun too. All paints, canvases and equipment is provided (just wear some old clothes). You might be surprised at what you create. Your artwork will be available to be collected at a later date once its dry and varnished by me. Or, I can post it to you at an additional cost. Ample free on street parking. There will be an hour and a half lunchbreak where you can either bring your own lunch and make the most of the surrounding beach and cliff area, or take a short walk into Southbourne where there are plenty of cafes and eateries.
